The cows roam on the farm’s lush pastures while the Thompsons grow the crops to support their unique diet.
Farmer Roy and his family tend to the herd, with a refreshingly sustainable approach, nurturing them with thoughtful care and respect.







From calves through to maturity, the cattle are reared at Scurf Dyke Farm, on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds.


Uniquely, the Freedown Hills herd has olives added to their diet, enhancing the wonderful flavour of our beef.
